Furnace Fuel

Furnace Fuel is generally used for boilers and Industrial Heating Oil can generally offer a significant savings on standard oil prices. However this comes with a caveat that it can ONLY be used for heating purposes.
At The Energy Desk we can provide a free health check that will analyse how much you could reduce costs simply by switching to Industry Heating Oil!

  • Furnace Fuel reduces carbon emissions and can help improve boiler efficiency
  • It can work at lower temperatures than standard gas oil
  • Lower fuel costs
  • Reduce carbon footprint

Questions about Oil Procurement? Just ask TED!

What is furnace fuel?

Furnace fuel is a developed clean-burning fuel, that’s used as a commercial heating option to help replace gas oil in boilers.

How much oil does an oil furnace use?

Typically, a home oil furnace can use as much as 1.7 gallons of oil every hour, but if you carefully cut down the usage you can reduce this to use only 0.8 gallons of oil an hour.

Is it cheaper to heat with oil or electric?

Despite electric heaters being less efficient then oil-burning heaters, it’s in fact cheaper to use electric heaters over oil. Also, the air it delivers is cooler than the oil systems.
