What is the New Connection Process?
On receipt of this completed form, TED will generate a supply contract proposal. The proposal will be sent to you and will need to be signed and returned to TED. On acceptance of the signed supply contract proposal, we will commence registration of the electricity supply and appoint the necessary third party agents including the meter operator who will provide a date for the meter to be installed. Standard industry timescales require 15 working days from receipt of the signed supply contract proposal to the meter being installed.

The technical information requested such as voltage and available capacity will be provided to you by your Distribution Network Operator (the company responsible for the installation of your electricity supply). They will also provide the unique Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN).
