LPG is an ideal choice for businesses that require heating but are beyond the reach of the mains gas supply. The lower environmental impact of LPG in comparison to electricity and oil makes it a clear choice for all green conscious business owners as it has the lowest carbon emissions of all the rural fuels.
At TED we deal with the three main suppliers – Calor, Flogas and Avanti – to ensure that customers get the best deal possible. We are able to offer tailor made LPG contracts to best suit a customer’s needs whether that be a short term fully fixed price or a long term variable contract. We can help customers who use gas cylinders or bulk tanks. LPG can not only be used for heating purposes but is ideal for catering, hot water and cooling purposes and offers a greater security of supply.
TED have fully-fixed LPG fuel contracts available, with prices based off the LPG supplier daily market and help provided to negotiate an installation cost suitable for you.
However, please note It’s rare for ‘fully fixed’ contracts (commodity & margin) to be offered, and in many cases the suppliers who do offer this type of contract will only offer it for a 6-month period.
Most contracts are Ansi Plus contracts. Ansi is the same as commodity; it’s the price for the LPG based on the daily market. The plus is the suppliers’ overheads. With this type of contract some suppliers are willing to offer five-year contracts while others will only offer 12 month durations.
A contract will not only include the LPG price per litre but the maintenance charge for tank rental, if the customer is a bulk user and is renting a tank.
As most LPG tanks are owned by the supplier and the customer merely rents the tank, switching LPG suppliers generally means an upfront cost of installing a new tank. TED can help minimise this cost by negotiating with suppliers to absorb the upfront costs, so that customers are not beholden to one supplier.
If you’re stuck in a LPG contract with a supplier that no longer fulfils your needs, then TED can help you switch suppliers today!
LPG is an excellent choice of fuel for rural businesses that cannot reach a mains gas supply. Many holiday parks, like campsites and caravan sites, are located in rural areas, surrounded by countryside. This is because rural areas provide a large amount of space for large holiday parks, and also provide a tranquil and adventurous area for tourists. Not only can LPG procurement provide a greener source of energy for holiday parks that is both cost-effective and reliable, LPG procurement can ensure a holiday park has a source of fuelling where mains electricity and gas is unattainable.
In comparison to traditional energy sources such as electricity and oil, LPG is a much greener and more environmentally friendly option of fuelling. By using TED’s LPG procurement services, you can save money on fuel for your business, and we can arrange deliveries at times convenient to you to ensure your supply is always topped up.
